Special orders

              We work hard to make sure all our special orders are delivered on time. We will not accept orders that do not allow adequate time for delivery. Use the following order times as guides but be aware that they vary by time of year and manufacturer. Once an order is placed in the production schedule it is seldom possible to speed up the manufacturers delivery if your plans change. Please order early to allow ample time.

               Bridesmaids

Dye lots can vary noticeably. Ordering all bridesmaid dresses at the same time ensures color consistency since they all will be from the same dye lot. Our experience indicates that it will take an average of one week per bridesmaid for them to submit measurements and deposits after you select the bridesmaid dress. This means 5 weeks for 5 bridesmaids.

Order times

            Wedding Gowns                       16 - 20 weeks

            Bridesmaids                              10 - 12 weeks

            Mothers dresses                       12 weeks

            Flower Girls                             10 - 12 weeks

            (Rush orders may be available for Gowns and dresses at an additional charge but the selections are more limited)

            Veils and Headpieces               8 - 10 weeks

            Shoes                                       4 - 6 weeks

 

Sizing

Wedding Gowns and bridesmaids dresses are not sized like normal ready to wear so we prefer to order from your measurements. We compare your measurements to the manufacturers size chart and adjust for seam allowance in the dress. We order the size that offers the least expensive alterations.  Taller girls may need extra length it is usually a standard 5".  Many manufacturers have extra size charges for sizes over 16. 

Deposits

We require a 75% deposit on all orders. (Many stores require as much as 100% deposit.)

Cancellations

We cannot cancel an order once it is placed in the manufacturers production system and we cannot return a special order to the manufacturer after it is delivered so all special order sales are final.

Special Orders

•             Wedding gowns take 4-5 months for delivery

•              Incoming freight will be charged on special orders

•              Rush is additional charge, varies by manufacturer

•              Bridesmaid’s dresses usually take 11-13 weeks

•              75% down is required

•              Balance due upon arrival

•              Dresses are not custom made, but measurements are required

•              Dresses ordered after 75% deposit and measurements are received

•               All attendants’ dresses must be ordered together since dye lots vary

•              Additional charges may apply for extra size and extra length
